Can I do it?

Thankyou Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles for tagging me in the ten-word story challenge.

I was initially a little hesitant and kept asking myself, can I do it?

I had an ophthalmologist appointment today for regular eye checkup. While waiting in the doctor’s lounge for my turn, I decided to attempt the ten-word story and wrote a few about my dear mom.

Here it goes,

With powerful grip, you march into the autumn of life.

Never stopped growing spiritually, always maintaining the quality of life.

Encouraging, cheering, nudging me constantly to go kiss the world

Even at 93, your simplicity and positivity surprise us all.

Your spirit holds on while the body breaks down slowly.

It tears me apart to see you in agonizing pain.

You are incredibly brave as you keep fighting the demons.

Accepting the life’s reality, you gracefully keep your arms down.

Even in pain, show me the way to purposeful living.

Reminds me life is worth living when lived for others.

Love you Mom!!

I invite my friends pockett dessert, B.R. Shenoy, Indra Raj Pathak ,Rhonda Carrier to join the challenge and have fun.
